Agra. The lawyers of Agra have also opposed the proposal to demolish the chambers of learned advocates in Rampur district. A memorandum was sent to the Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court on Monday under the leadership of Advocate Saroj Yadav in protest against the demolition of the chambers.
Through
the memorandum, the Chief Justice was informed that the chambers of learned
advocates are being demolished in Rampur district, due to which the advocates
of Rampur Bar are continuously agitating. Under the above circumstances, the
advocates of Rampur Bar are repeatedly demanding their chambers, so that the
respected advocates can practice law in a respectable environment. It was said
in the memorandum that the bar and the bench are integral parts of the same system.
Justice cannot even be imagined in the judicial system without lawyers. Through
the memorandum, it was demanded that the chambers of the respected advocates of
Rampur Bar should not be demolished and the availability of chambers should be
ensured for them to practice law in a respectable manner.
During
this, Advocate Saroj Yadav said that there is a dire need of proper chambers
for the lawyers in the state to sit and practice in a respectable manner.
Whereas the state government is not paying any attention to this. He said that
the government machinery is spending indiscriminately on the infrastructure of
the courts and there is no availability of chambers for the lawyers to sit in a
respectable manner. This situation is extremely worrying.
The
government as well as the judicial system need to think seriously on this issue
with human sensibilities. Respected advocates of the whole of Uttar Pradesh are
bearing the brunt of the unavailability of chambers and chambers have been the
main reason for agitation in many districts and at present also agitation is
being carried out by the advocates of Rampur. Advocate Saroj Yadav has said
that if chambers are not made available in the state, then the advocate
community is moving on the path of agitation and will continue to move forward.
