Aam Aadmi Party leader Somnath Bharti has got a big setback from the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has rejected the petition of Somnath Bharti in which he had appealed to transfer the case registered against him from Sultanpur in Uttar Pradesh to Delhi. This case was registered against him for allegedly making derogatory remarks on the condition of hospitals and schools in Uttar Pradesh.
The case against Somnath Bharti is pending in the court
of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate of Sultanpur. He had approached the
Supreme Court requesting to transfer the case to Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi.
AAP leader Somnath Bharti Earlier, the Supreme Court had issued notice to the Uttar Pradesh government in this matter. A bench of Justice M.M. Sundaresh and Justice Arvind Kumar had also issued notice to the complainant in this case.
Earlier On July 3 last year, the apex court had stayed the proceedings pending against Bharti in the Sultanpur court.

And An FIR was lodged against him at Jagdishpur police station in Amethi by local resident Aam Aadmi Party leader Somnath Bharti.
