The Jabalpur Bench of the
High Court has asked the state government what measures have been taken for the
safety of doctors of government hospitals? Information about all efforts should
be presented in this regard. The bench of Acting Chief Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva
and Justice Vinay Saraf has entrusted the responsibility to the government
advocate to ensure the presentation of the reply by obtaining instructions from
the state government.

presented a list of 10 point demands
During the hearing on
Tuesday, MP Doctors Association presented a list of its 10 point demands. After
taking it on record, the next hearing of the case was fixed after two weeks.
What is the matter
Protests were going on
across the country against the incident of rape of a trainee doctor in Kolkata.
Junior doctors in Madhya Pradesh also went on an indefinite strike in protest
against the incident. While hearing the petition filed against which, the High
Court, citing the earlier order, had issued instructions to end the strike
immediately and return to work immediately.
The junior doctors had ended the strike and returned to work. The High Court had also issued orders to hear the demands of the doctors. After which the junior doctors ended the strike and returned to work. During the hearing, the bench was told that the Supreme Court is taking cognizance of the demands of the doctors and is hearing the case. Senior advocates Sanjay Agarwal and Abhishek Pandey argued on behalf of the petitioner and advocate Mahendra Pateria argued on behalf of the association.
